The National Defense Education Office will hold a large military camp opening event in Wuhan, Hubei Province in August this year. Activities include visiting military camps and exchange activities. At the invitation of the organisers, Hong Kong student representatives attending Wuhan universities will also participate in the exchange with Hong Kong youth representatives.
Due to the limited number of places, the Home Affairs Bureau has established a corresponding quota for the number of young members of each group. The number of uniformed groups is two. All uniform groups/youth organizations are invited to nominate young players from 18 to 26 years old to observe the opening activities of the military camp and participate in relevant youth and cultural exchange activities. The event will be tentatively scheduled for August 14-16, 2018. The specific dates and detailed itinerary will be attached later. The Home Affairs Bureau will be responsible for the relevant expenses such as air tickets and accommodation for the event.
In order to facilitate the arrangement of the relevant itinerary, please contact the members who are interested in participating in the above qualifications by email on July 22 (Sunday) to return the nomination form, the participant's ID card and a copy of the valid travel document to (chq. Po@hkac.org ) and copy it to the responsible unit of the unit.
If the number of applicants exceeds the activity quota, they will be selected according to the applicant's seniority, official rank, service hours and past participation in similar activities.
For enquiries, please contact the Project Officer, Mr Kwan Ka-wai, at 2792 6486 or by email (chq.po@hkac.org).
