Members of the 14 uniform teams in Hong Kong, including 14 members of the Hong Kong Adventure Corps, continued their journey of "10,000 Miles Friendship Trek 2018" in Foshan, Guangdong, yesterday (July 22).

After leaving the Foshan Foreign Languages School in Guangdong in the morning, the delegation went to the Haitian Soy Sauce Factory to learn how to make traditional and full of Cantonese-style soy sauce with modern technology.

After lunch at the soy sauce factory, the exchange group set off for the famous Nanfeng Guzao in Foshan to experience the traditional Lingnan culture. This ancient stove, which has been in operation since the Ming Dynasty, has developed into a well-known cultural area in Foshan. The members experienced two traditional Chinese techniques - paper-cutting and pottery.

Foshan ceramics has a long history and is famous for its Shiwan ceramics. In "Nanfeng Guzao", more than 200 members of the same-minded Wanli Group and more than 40 local students from Foshan experienced the traditional Lingnan crafts of paper-cutting and pottery. The conference specially invited Foshan's famous teacher, Rao Baolian, to teach the members how to make a "copper chisel" paper cut unique to Foshan, Guangdong. In the "playing pottery" (ceramic craft time), the members have played their creative talents and made many interesting finished products.

The dinner time is of course a happy moment for the members to communicate with Foshan students. After a meal, the delegation went to Wenhua Park to watch the "Starlight Dance" - Music Fountain Performance.

The delegation left Guangdong Province today (July 23) to continue to exchange the "Exploration of Lingnan Culture and Technology Development Journey" to Guilin, which has a reputation as a "landscape".
