Assessment will be provided within course schedule, in which every course student

will be examined by Corps Sergeant Major (CSM) or Senior Drill Instructor(s)

assigned by Corps Sergeant Major (CSM).

Venue

Hong Kong Adventure Corps High Island Training Camp,

Sai Kung Man Yee Road, Sai Kung.

Objective

︰

1. To provide training to Corps’ members with precise and standardized flag

  raising procedures (Golden Bauhinia Square flag-raising ceremony standard), and

  the lowering procedures.

2. Enable Corps’ members to have better understanding in the ceremony (e.g.

  the National Flag, the National Anthem, the Regional Flag and related ordinance.).

Target

1. Adult instructors (except Potential Instructor), or

2. Cadets.

Uniform

︰

General Duty Dress.

( Refer to Commandant’s Order 12/2015 Dress Regulations (Part One) or HKAC

   Website – “Information” – “Dress Regulation”）.

Class size

︰

12 per class( Minimum size of 6 ).

( Squadrons/units are invited to nominate 3 members to attend captioned

 course(s). )

Course fee

︰

Wavier (HK$ 184.0/person will be subsidized by CHQ).

( Transportation, meals(Lunch), handout(if applicable) and administration fee

 included, non-refundable. According to the instruction given by Commandant

 and Chief Staff Officer on 17^th February, 2022, expenses generated in relation with

 HITC will be subsidized by CHQ as a support to squadrons/units’ development in

 related field and training. )

Remarks

︰

1. Fees and places of enrolled participants is non-refundable and non-

   exchangeable.

2. All participants must comply with the anti-epidemic measures.

3. Course students should at all times wear proper uniform, obey any given

   orders/instructions and participate with 100% attendance, failure to do so will

   result in suspension of taking class(es).

4. The Hong Kong Adventure Corps Certificate of Achievement – Flag raising and

   lowering course will be awarded upon completion of course requirement and

   examination.

5. Enrollee for the Selection: 4-May Flag-raising ceremony at Golden Bauhinia

  Square will be selected during the training course. Training will then be

  provided by Guard Troop afterward.

6. The course will be cancelled if enrolment is insufficient (less than 6 persons per

   course).

7. Class arrangement is subject to change depending on the latest situation of the

   epidemic and the suspension of training. Details of the latest arrangement are

   available at HKAC website ( http://hkac.org/ ).

8. ^#1 Course candidate(s) should report to rendezvous point on time, there will be

   NO waiting for late-comers.
