“Introduction to Engines” Automobile Training　Centre Visit x Engineering Introductory Training Course (JUNE)

Offering from the Vocational Training Council (VTC), HKAC members along with the HKSCC and HKACC are now being invited to participate in a free “Introduction to Engines” course. In the course, students are able to receive hands-on introductory training to various kinds of motor engines, tools and equipment. Details are as follows:

2nd June, 2021 (Wednesday),

9th June, 2021 (Wednesday),

Option 3.

16th June, 2021 (Wednesday),

Option 4.

23rd June, 2021 (Wednesday),

Option 5.

30th June, 2021 (Wednesday).

( Only one class is needed to attend for each applicant. )

Pro‐Act Training and Development Centre (Automobile)

2/F Kwai Chung VTC Complex, 13‐19 San Kwai Street, Kwai Chung

(5 minutes walk from Kwai Fong MTR Station)

 

 

 

 

Target

：

Corps’ members (Cadet members – 1st priority)

Uniform

：

Civilian

( (Cadet)Corps T-shirt or Squadron T-shirt, (Instructor) Polo T-shirt, trousers and sport shoes. )

 

 

Class size

：

12-16 students per class (first come first serve basis)

Course fee

：

Fee (self-arranged transportation)

Option 1 to 3 -

1700 hours, 28th May 2021 (Friday).

Option 4 and 5 -

1700 hours, 11th June 2021 (Friday).

 

 

Training content

：

1.

Tour the workshop,

2.

Understand the operation of 4‐stroke and 2‐stroke engine,

3.

Understand the petrol and diesel engines,

4.

Understand the motor engine components.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Remarks

：

 

 

1.

Attendance Certificate will be issued by Pro‐Act Training and Development Centre

(Automobile).

 

 

 

2.

Please refer to the attached leaflet for details.

 

Student name list will be uploaded to Corps’ website 7 days before the commencement of the course (please check accordingly). In case of uncertainty, please contact Project Officer (Training) at Tel: 2792 6486 during office hours.

 

Application: Would all OCs Squadron & Unit ICs please complete the attached nomination form and return to Project Officer (Training) by email ( po.trg@hkac.org ), with carbon copy send to ( achq@hkac.org ).
