
Vacancies: Corps Executive Secretary
The Hong Kong Adventure Corps is a youth uniformed group dedicated to providing young people with training in discipline, outdoor adventure, and leadership development. It operates as a registered non-profit organisation and receives annual funding support from the Home and Youth Affairs Bureau to cover operational expenses.
We are currently inviting applications for the following positions from suitably qualified candidates:
Corps Executive Secretary
Position Overview:
We are seeking a mature, high-caliber, and self-motivated individual to join our team as the Corps Executive Secretary. This pivotal role focuses on supporting the Board of Directors and overseeing the day-to-day administration of the Corps.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as Secretary to the Board of Directors.
- Liaise with government departments and other youth organisations regarding Corps business.
- Oversee Corps administration and manage the operations of Corps Headquarters
- Collaborate closely with the Commandant and volunteer instructors to deliver support and
services.
- Plan and implement major promotional campaigns and fundraising projects.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- A recognised bachelor’s degree in Hong Kong, together with relevant working experience.
- Fluency in written and spoken Chinese (including Putonghua) and English.
- Passion for military-style adventurous youth training.
- Proven skills in management and administration.
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in common computer applications.
- Willingness to work irregular hours and weekends as required (5.5 days/workweek).
Compensation:
Salary is negotiable, based on qualifications and experience.
