Assessment will be conducted at the end of each course/class by coaching

instructor.

To familiarize qualified members with update information on abseiling training, as

well as to refresh their qualification record.

Target

Holder of the “Abseiling Associate Instructor Course” certificate issued by HKAC.

Uniform

Field Dress.

Class size

8 per class( Minimum size of 2 ).

Course fee

︰

Wavier ( HK$ 92.0/person will be subsidized by CHQ ).

( Transportation, meal(Lunch), handout(if applicable) and administration fee

  included, non-refundable. According to the minutes of Commandant’s meeting

  on 7th October 2020, expenses generated in relation with HITC will be subsidized

  by CHQ as an encouragement for our corps’ instructor members.)

Content

Setting up anchors, descend techniques, activity/participant handling, rescue

procedures, ascend techniques, briefing skills.

Remarks

︰

1.

Fees and places of enrolled participants is non-refundable and non- exchangeable.

2.

All participants must comply with the anti-epidemic measures.

3.

Prepare Corps T-shirt / Squadron T-shirt for substitution.

4.

Participants may prepare own Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), e.g helmet and

harness. Personal gear is also suggested, e.g. gloves and sunglasses.

5.

The Hong Kong Adventure Corps Certificate of Achievement – Recreational  

Abseiling Associate Instructor Refresher Course will be awarded upon completion

of course requirement and examination.

6.

The course will be cancelled if enrolment is insufficient (less than 2 persons per

course).

7.

Class arrangement is subject to change depending on the latest situation of the

epidemic and the suspension of training. Details of the latest arrangement are

available at HKAC website ( http://hkac.org/ ).

8.

NO waiting for late-comers.
