1. Written test (Theory in the content of Training Syllabus – Range Assistant Course

    (attachment) ), and

2. Practical exam.

Venue

︰

Indoor Range, Hong Kong Adventure Corps High Island Training Camp,

Sai Kung Man Yee Road, Sai Kung.

Objective

︰

1. Learn about the range operating procedure,

2. Understand the duty and limitation of a Range Assistant, and

3. Consolidate the knowledge and sense of range safety, prepare for Range Officer

    Test.

Target

︰

1. Aged 15 or above,

2. Corps’members (Cadet Sergeant or above; and adult instructors (except

    Potential Instructor) ), and

3. Completed 10m Air Pistol or Rifle Shooting Course (Elementary).

Uniform

︰

Civilian.

（Corps T-shirt or Squadron T-shirt, trousers(black) and sport shoes. camouflage

    clothing is prohibited within range area.）

Class size

︰

9 per class (Minimum size of 2 per session ).

Course fee

︰

Cadet - HK$184.0/head^#1.

（Transportation, meal(s), handout (if applicable), external facilitator and

    administration fee included.）

Adult instructors – HK$100/head^{#1 #2}.

（Meal(s), handout (if applicable), external facilitator and administration fee

    included.）

According to the minutes of Commandant’s meeting on 7th October 2020,

    expenses generated in relation with HITC will be subsidized by CHQ as an

    encouragement for our corps’ instructor members.)

Remarks

1. Fees and places of enrolled participants is non-refundable and non-

     exchangeable.

2. All participants must comply with the anti-epidemic measures.

3. The Hong Kong Adventure Corps Certificate of Achievement – Range Assistant

     Course will be awarded upon completion of course requirement.

4. The course will be cancelled if enrolment is insufficient (e.g. less than 2 persons

     per session) .

5. In order to encourage and promote an eco-friendly perspective within Corps,

     training materials (e.g. handouts) will be distributed in electronic format. Other

     course related expenses will be shared by course students.

6. Class arrangement is subject to change depending on the latest situation of the

     epidemic and the suspension of training. Details of the latest arrangement are

     available at HKAC website ( http://hkac.org/ ).
